Careful...Don't Become So Earthly Minded U-R No Heavenly Good
In this day and time some people are of the opinion that CHURCH attendance is far more important than anything on this earth they can do. Church attendance is meaningful but that alone will NOT get you to HEAVEN. Setting in a Church Pew will NOT get you to heaven no more than sitting in a parked car will turn your car into a Cadillac or a Ford! Even more so if you are not attending a "CERTAIN LABELED CHURCH" you are attending the WRONG CHURCH. Churches today are like STOP SIGNS there are one or more on every corner and according to some "THEIR CHURCH" is the best one in town and how come you aren't in that one???
Over the past 56 years of our relationship my wife (Alberta) and I have always attended church where ever we have lived all the way from Tennessee to Arkansas, then Texas, and now Kentucky. Yes our three children were all "TAKEN TO CHURCH and NOT SENT"! No Church attendance isn't the only game in town but I can assure you that it is ONE OF THE BEST ONES IN TOWN! Raising a family is an awesome responsibility but yet one of the most FUN things in life and it amazes me why so many marriages fail with adults and children turning out as they are today.
Living A Well Rounded Life Consists Of Far More Than Church Attendance.
Sports are OK but should never interfere with spending quality time with your children engaged in other things. Singing in the Choir is a wonderful part of the Church to participate in and the MUSIC is equally as important for "SETTING THE TONE" of the worship service as any segment of the service, however, while the Children are being taught how to "SIT QUIETLY" in the service they need both PARENTS by their sides.

According to statistics far less than 40% of the public attend any Church on a regular basis with many of them professing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Many of these same folks attend THREE or MORE Churches but are not either ACTIVE or a member of either. Denominationalism is very DANGEROUS. However we all know of individuals that truly believe that CHURCH ATTENDANCE is far more important than their own "PERSONAL SALVATION"! Others believe that no matter what the PREACHER says it is the GOSPEL TRUTH...WRONG...UNLESS what they are speaking can be backed up with "THE WORD of GOD (THE BIBLE)"! Then there are those TV Evangelists (HAWKERS) conveying if you will send them $100 dollars GOD will send back to you $1000 dollars. THINK ABOUT IT!
Church Attendance (in my humble opinion) is a must, however there must be a "HAPPY MEDIUM" also.
If we were readying ourselves to go on a long trip (by car) and because gasoline is too expensive we say we are NOT going to purchase any. Guess what your CAR GASOLINE TANK on empty will not get you to your physical destination no more than your "SPIRITUAL TANK ON EMPTY" will. Where do we get our CAR TANKS filled...wherever they sell GASOLINE (regardless of the price)! Gasoline is not FREE but our "SPIRITUAL TANKS" are FREE because JESUS CHRIST PAID FOR IT IN FULL AT CALVARY with HIS SHED BLOOD.
On the DAY OF PENTECOST at Antioch the HOLY SPIRIT FILLED THE ROOM and thousands were added to the CHURCH DAILY. When JESUS HAND PICKED the 12 disciples not all of them were totally committed to JESUS CHRIST; One denied Him, One Doubted Him, One Betrayed Him, and they all scattered when HE was crucified because they were ORDINARY HUMAN BEINGS as are YOU and I. THINK ABOUT IT!
When God told Abraham and Sarah they would have a child (together) they laughed at GOD and they thought how ridiculous! Sarah insisted that Abraham have an affair with one of the Arab Handmaidens birthing Ishmael. BUT GOD did allow them to have a son by the name of ISAAC as HE had previously said HE would do. How many times has GOD told us to do a certain thing and it made SENSE at the time but... in His perfect time and will we finally got around to doing it? THINK ABOUT IT!
Recently I was allowed to give a "TALK" ( I don't give messages as I am not a Preacher) of which GOD gave to me ever so many years ago and it was given in a Church of God Assembly a few hundred miles from here. When GOD asked me to do this I thought to myself (YEAH RIGHT) but why so was I some years in getting this accomplished? No, I have never had a problem with giving a "GIDEON STEWARDSHIP REPORT over these past 4 plus decades but giving the following "TALK" ("THERE IS YOUR TIME AND THERE IS MY TIME ...THEN THERE IS GOD'S TIME ...AND THERE IN LIES THE Problem)! No, I was not there speaking for FUNDING to BUY BIBLES with representing THE GIDEON'S INTERNATIONAL as I have done in ever so many places. I was there this time because GOD had given to me a "TALK DIRECTED AT HIS BRIDE...THE CHURCH! " Now He has me trained to share these WORDS anywhere a door may be opened and yes, there will be MANY OPENED as time goes by.
Question: What has GOD asked you to do you have NOT yet done? Well you may think, GOD hasn't ever asked me to do anything that I know of! No way can this be true and if this is your line of thinking then you simply have NOT been listening for GODS VOICE! To my way of thinking some are so heavenly minded they are no earthly good and all the while some are so earthly minded they are no heavenly good! Think About It!
We here at CBA National are more than willing to tackle what GOD has "ASKED US TO DO"... "BUILDING OF THE GATHERING PLACE ......................" and come hail or high water, God and we will get it accomplished. WE have divided this project into "THREE PHASES" and Phase # 1 is well under way with those 300 PRAYER WARRIORS committed to Prayer the 300 acres of land will come to be a reality.
